Most people hear the word "hostel" and think of smelly backpackers crammed into communal rooms. But those people haven't seen the Generator Hostel, which opened this month in Paris. It's perfect for solo travelers who want to mix and mingle but also value their privacy, and at 45 euros per person for a single room it's a welcome addition to the budget space in the pricey French capital. Take a look at these exclusive photos from the Generator Paris, then get amped for the brand's upcoming properties in Rome and Amsterdam, which will open later this year.
The Generator is located in the 10th arrondissement, across the street from the landmark Communist Party Headquarters building.
